Since 2023, AgroTechnoPôle (INRAE) has been actively contributing to the European agrifoodTEF project, an ambitious initiative to accelerate the development, experimentation and adoption of artificial intelligence and robotics technologies in the agricultural and agri-food sectors.

We are now taking a new step forward with the installation of our test centre on the Montoldre site:

• A paved track to test the stability, braking, safety and performance of the equipment.
  

• Adjacent dirt tracks for realistic testing in agricultural field conditions.
  

• Sloping plots to assess the robustness and adaptability of machines in complex environments.
  

• An area dedicated to autonomous machines, equipped for long-term testing, including obstacles and a remote control system.
  

These facilities will serve companies, researchers and start-ups who want to validate their innovations in a safe, realistic and demanding environment, with the ultimate goal of better market adoption.

By collaborating within the French AgrifoodTEF node, we are also strengthening national coordination, service sharing and dissemination strategy, with partners such as LNE, INRIA, ACTA, CAPdL, IDELE, IFV, or Arvalis.
